Preventive and planned conservation, a sustainable strategy for architectural heritage: between circularity of knowledge and care

Tuesday May 19, from 12 am to 13 pm, second appointment of the series of training meetings organized within the Manifesta Bellezza Call for Proposals.

The meeting, held by Monica Naretto – architect and Full Professor of Restoration at the Polytechnic of Turin, Department of Architecture and Design, It introduces the strategy of planned conservation as an approach to the prevention and care of architectural heritage, illustrating its definition, cultural framework, and objectives. Using examples and best practices, it also briefly reviews some of the tools and methods for implementing the process, such as conservation plans, moving from architecture to equipment, with references to relevant literature.

WHO IS IT

The meeting is aimed primarily at potential beneficiaries of the call for proposals but is open to anyone interested in learning more about the care, management, and enhancement of cultural and landscape heritage.
