Il critical and reflective thinking has become a fundamental skill in contemporary society where citizens of all ages are called upon to confront increasing complexity. In an extremely complex world, characterized by an overabundance of data, critical thinking and capacity become a prerequisite for active, informed, and participatory citizenship.

Il Multi-Year Plan 2025 – 2028 The CRC Foundation has identified some key words that form the framework of the initiatives developed annually: Beauty, Creativity, Care, Future and Participation. The 2026 Operational Programme, within the measures linked to the word Future, provides for the second edition of the "Let's Ask Ourselves Some Questions" call.

Learning outcomes

The "Let's Ask Ourselves Questions" call aims to support the development of reflective skills and critical thinking in children, teens, and young adults up to age 18 through the dissemination of tools that enhance their ability to ask questions, find answers, share their thoughts, and thoroughly and critically rework the information and knowledge to which younger generations are exposed. These educational experiences will equip students to avoid the pitfalls of manipulation, define core values, and ensure the freedom of thought and action of tomorrow's citizens. "Let's Ask Ourselves Questions" aims to enhance children's and young adults' perspectives on the world. The call will also provide an opportunity to offer open dialogue and reflection between schools and the community regarding the importance of critical thinking, the expression of values, and self-awareness.

Subject

The announcement "Let's ask ourselves some questions" intends to finance:

1. Philosophy projects by/with/for children and young people, which allow for a philosophical and dialogue-based approach to define, create, and collect children's and young people's philosophical worldviews;
2. Projects that involve the use of philosophical tools such as questioning, dialogue, symposiums, and debate to reach well-argued critical reflections on the values ​​of society and the meaning of life and existence.

Project budget and resources

Il overall budget of the call Let's ask ourselves some questions is of 400 thousand eurosProjects may receive a maximum contribution of 20.000 euros; the initiatives must be developed over two school years (from 2026/2027 to 2027/2028) and the activities dedicated to students must be started no later than January 31, 2027. No mandatory co-financing is required, however the presence of own resources or third-party financing to support the implementation of the project will constitute a reward criterion in the evaluation phase.

Eligible subjects

Entities considered eligible under the call for proposals are: Let's ask ourselves some questions all state or private schools, CPIA and professional training agencies with compulsory education courses located in the province of CuneoEach organization may submit only one application. The call is open to the entire province, and a prerequisite for eligibility is that project activities involve areas within the province of Cuneo. Specifically, priority will be given to interventions targeting the CRC Foundation's four main areas of operation: Alba, Braidese, Cuneo, and Monregalese.

Times and methods for requesting the contribution

The request for a contribution must be submitted exclusively in electronic format using the ROL procedure specifically activated on the CRC Foundation website no later than 11:59 PM on April 15, 2026 (DEADLINE EXTENDED)
